Aspris College North Wales was established in 2011 and is an independent, specialist college for young people aged 16 to 25 years with additional learning needs and learners who experience barriers to their learning as a result of social, emotional, behavioural and cognitive needs. We offer further education as a term-time only day college.
Aspris College North Wales provides a safe and supportive learning environment where our young people can develop the confidence and skills they need for the next stage of their journey, through developing their independent living skills, academic skills and employability skills. Our college supports learners through a range of therapeutic packages.
We also work in partnership with the local Further Education facilities to support learners with academic, independence and communication needs to effectively access a mainstream course. Learners accessing support from Aspris College North Wales can also continue to benefit from therapeutic input provided by our college.
We have a dedicated team who are trained specialists, and various colleagues are fluent in BSL and many are competent Makaton users.
We aim to provide every young person with an individually tailored programme of study, life skills and therapies to enable them to live as independently as possible and make their own life choices.
