A commitment to training
High quality teaching and support is the reason we are able to transform young people’s lives here at Arden College. To ensure we provide the best possible support for the learners, staff are committed to a continuous programme of training.
The college leadership team have undertaken various NPQ/leadership qualifications. We also have staff enrolling on to various autism course for start dates of late 2023. We are a member of Natspec and we make full use of their training library. Arden College also works closely with Aspris learning and development team to ensure that all staff have continuous professional development opportunities.
We also have a number of safeguarding officers on-site and ensure that all staff have had extensive training in preventing radicalisation. Staff work to ensure that promoting British values in a meaningful way for our learners, with the British values permeating through The Arden College Charter ensuring all staff are aware of the college values and ethos.
