“I like that I've been allowed to have a college pet, which is a crested gecko named Baby Dave. Baby Dave helps with my regulation and communication skills. I also love animals.”
“Before Arden College, I hardly ever went to school, and when I did, I spent it in isolation and away from others, resulting in being by myself most of the time. I hated school and had a bad temper towards the staff.
After being at Arden College for two years, my attendance is over 95% and I enjoy coming to college every day. I have a timetable that I've created and is built around my interests and goals. I've started two work placements this year, one at the RSPCA socialising with the rescue aimals and another at a local reptile shop.
I would like to say thank you to the staff at Arden College for helping me find my confidence again and enjoy college. I would also like to continue to add to our collection of animals at Arden College with a giant African land snail or a frog."
