Our curriculum includes:

  • Core subjects (Key Stages 3, 4 and 5)
  • Foundation subjects (Key Stages 3, 4 and 5)
  • Provision for PSHE: Personal, social, health and economic education
  • AQA: Unit Awards, Entry Level and GCSE
  • Functional skills
  • ASDAN awards
  • John Muir Award Scheme linked to Arthog Outward Bound Outreach

Transitions into colleges/adult services

The bespoke individualised package that each pupil receives is tailored to prepare them for the next steps, whether it is re-integration into mainstream education, college, employment, living locally, living in home areas or living independently. The school sets, reviews and refines objectives in conjunction with all stakeholders, to optimise the success and smoothness of transitions.
