Hobbit House is located in a semi-rural setting of the Kent countryside which enables the young people placed to be supported with the benefit of minimal distractions from the external environment.
Rated 'Outstanding' by Ofsted, Hobbit House supports up to three young people aged 8 to 18 years, who have emotional and/or behavioural difficulties (EBD) and/or complex associated difficulties.
Supporting the needs of the young people
Hobbit House has a dedicated and welcoming staff team, who all take the same approach of ensuring that the young people are at the forefront of any decisions made around their care. We ensure that everyone has a voice and are able to express their views and input into how they want to be cared for whilst at the home.
We believe that to create a friendly, relaxed and supportive environment which values the ethos of mutual respect and responsibility, equipped with adequate communal and private living space is in the foundation upon which our quality service is built.
