Given the highly specialised nature of the provision at Progress School, we are able to take referrals from all over the UK, as well as internationally, and we welcome enquiries both from parents, carers and local authorities.
The admission process at Progress School is individually tailored to the young person who is considering attending the school. In some cases, the individual will be invited to come to school for visits, whereas other students benefit from getting to know our staff in their own environment.
All potential placements are initially considered by the operational director. Further assessment is then undertaken by the school leaders who have extensive experience of supporting learners with complex needs. Places are offered on an individual basis and only when the school leaders feel confident they can commit to the very best provision for the child.
