Sheridan School has a multidisciplinary team of consultants who provide a range of therapeutic services to our young people. The team comprises:
- A music therapist
- A speech and language therapist (SALT)
- A psychotherapeutic counsellor
- A counselling psychologist
We believe our therapists are integral to the school: They work closely alongside our teaching staff to implement support strategies that help our pupils achieve their full potential and get them in the right place so that they are ready to learn. There is at least one member of the therapy team on site every day except Fridays.
Therapists have access to a dedicated therapy room which they can use when working 1:1 with children but our SALT tends to work in the classroom with the young person.
