A commitment to training
High quality teaching and support is the reason we are able to transform young people’s lives here at Strathmore College. To ensure we provide the best possible support for the learners, staff are committed to a continuous programme of training. In addition to the comprehensive mandatory training, a group of staff are developing their understanding of autism by completing Level 4 and Level 6 courses in autism through Staffordshire University.
We also have a number of safeguarding officers on site and ensure that all staff have had extensive training in preventing radicalisation. Staff work to ensure that promoting British values in a meaningful way for our learners is front of the agenda in all elements of college life.
