Rugeley School, a specialist residential school for young people aged 5 to 19 with autism and moderate to severe learning difficulties, has been praised by Ofsted.
In its latest report, the independent education watchdog said the school in Blithbury, Rugeley in Staffordshire was "good". 
Inspectors praised it for its "understanding of how to support the learning of pupils with autistic spectrum conditions", "rigorous systems for checking on all aspects of the school’s work" and "keeping pupils safe and secure".
Ofsted said that the school staff "treat all pupils with the utmost care and respect".
Throughout, the report praises the personalised approach to learning, and the ability to apply knowledge of autistic spectrum conditions to teaching methods.
Parents' high level of satisfaction was judged to be a particular strong point, with parents "praising the strides in personal development that their children make".
The senior leadership were highlighted for providing "effective and efficient leadership".
Aspris’s Rugeley School, is an independent special school. Welcoming the Ofsted report, the School Principal said: "We are delighted with Ofsted’s conclusion. Rugeley School offers a great education, and we look forward to continuing our engagement with parents and the wider community to ensure that a high level of achievement is retained."
He added: "We must to continue to ensure that the school offers a great stepping stone for pupils into adulthood."
