Parents, carers & young people testimonials

We understand that deciding where to send your child to school or college is a big decision and that you need as much information as possible to help you make the right choice for you and your family. That is why we have asked parents, carers and young people themselves to share their views and experiences of Aspris settings.

The testimonials below aim to give you a real insight into our schools and colleges, the way we work and the outcomes you can expect.

  • “Somehow you've managed to get him cooking!!!!! Oh how I've longed for the day when he would cook or bake with me. He was flipping pancakes for breakfast with me the other day.” (Parent of a student)
  • “As a mother, I am truly moved by the tremendous support provided to me.” (Parent of a student)
  • “I wanted to just drop you a message to say a huge thank you to all of the teachers and staff, who have helped my child through his GCSEs and helped him achieve his potential. He starts 6th form college on Friday and got the subjects he wanted. He is over the moon with his results and please pass on my thanks to the team, who all contributed to his success. I’m sure they would love to know that my son is really thankful for all they did to support him. Thanks again for all you did for my son and hopefully he will come back to visit you and share his experiences of 6th form when he’s settled in.” (Parent of a student)

Thank you all for your unwavering support
“Can I once again thank you all for your unwavering support and guidance with Lawrence. I can rely on any member of staff to reply promptly every time I send an email or message. We consider ourselves extremely lucky that Lawrence is attending your school. Family life has been transformed! Despite the odd wobble, Lawrence enjoys coming to school and it's still a novelty for me to see him practically skipping down the garden path each morning to the waiting taxi! Gone are the days at his old school when we couldn't even get him out of bed each day, let alone get him through the school doors!”

I can't thank the college enough

"My son has attended Arden since September 2021. As a family we have had a difficult couple of years and even though he attended school he wasn't engaging hence the move to Arden.12 months on I have a young man who has confidence, is positive about himself, enjoys life, has interests, is becoming more independent, is more relaxed especially at home, has developed skills to manage himself during a crisis, he can see a future for himself, and I could go on...

All the above is amazing and I can't thank the college enough for what they have done for my son and us as a family. However, yesterday I received an email to inform me that my son's artwork had been submitted to Oripeau and had been chosen to be displayed in Canada for a week and on their website; That there are currently 26 artists who have had their work chosen from the UK and one of them is my son. This email has blown me away and I'm struggling to put into words what it means to me as it's massive.

I can't thank the college enough but especially Lydia Haram the art teacher. She has made it possible for my son to produce the artwork by making it accessible, encouraging and believing in him so much that she submitted his work."
