Our values and behaviours

At Aspris, we are proud of our values and behaviours which were developed by our colleagues, children and young people. They shape our culture and underpin why our organisation is such a unique and exciting place to be, alongside influencing the positive work we do and how we do it.

As an organisation, we’re restless to deliver the Aspris difference for every child and young person we support. We continuously innovate to provide the best possible outcomes and we celebrate and recognise not only young people’s achievements, but each other’s. A robust approach to Governance

Our robust approach to organisational governance ensures that Aspris colleagues work together to provide safe, effective and well-managed services. Our governance framework sets out a clear set of principles around which we all operate, so that our teams are consistent in delivering the highest possible standards.

Aspris’ healthcare and children’s services are led by highly-experienced operational teams. These teams are overseen and supported by quality specialists. A culture of continuous quality improvement enables staff to deliver the highest standards of education, care and support across our services.

A dedicated Quality Team

The staff delivering Aspris’ services receive support and constructive oversight from a dedicated divisional Quality Team. This team employs a model of quality control, quality assurance and quality improvement. These three elements enable delivery of a comprehensive total quality management system and ensure that care, support and treatment provided to the individuals receiving our services is of a consistently high standard.

Specialist support to ensure quality

Our operational teams are dedicated to delivering the highest standards of care and support. This is evidenced by many of our services achieving the Ofsted Outstanding and Good ratings.

In addition to support from the Quality Team, central teams provide specialist support and monitoring to those leading our services. They ensure that operational leaders have the frameworks and resources to deliver the highest possible standards.

Supporting each child to achieve their unique potential

We believe that every young person deserves the care, support and education that equips them for a brighter future, and we support each child to achieve their unique potential.

Aspris Education provides a network of specialist schools and colleges, with an unwavering focus on achieving the best outcomes. With our educational expertise and first-class environments, children and young people grow, develop and progress. They achieve academically while building the social, emotional and independence skills they can draw on for life.

Our Aspris Care children’s homes provide warm, welcoming and nurturing environments for vulnerable young people. They offer stability and care, empowering each child to overcome their barriers and succeed. Our homes support young people to engage with their education and lay the foundations for successful transitions to the next stage of their life.

Care and support tailored to each individual

Every child is unique, so we carefully tailor our care and support to their specific needs, interests, skillsets and aspirations. We see the potential in each young person that we support and we place their needs at the core of every decision we take.

We know the journey to success is often not a straight line. Wherever a child’s abilities lie, we dedicate ourselves to helping them enhance their future prospects. We are patient, committed and work in partnership with each young person that we support.

Our specialisms

We have extensive experience of working with children and young people with a range of needs, including autism, social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs and learning difficulties.

We have an in-depth understanding of these challenges and the ways in which they can affect a young person, both academically and socially. This awareness shapes everything that we do, from the subjects offered in our schools and colleges, to the design and layout of our buildings.

Thank you all for your unwavering support
“Can I once again thank you all for your unwavering support and guidance with Lawrence. I can rely on any member of staff to reply promptly every time I send an email or message. We consider ourselves extremely lucky that Lawrence is attending your school. Family life has been transformed! Despite the odd wobble, Lawrence enjoys coming to school and it's still a novelty for me to see him practically skipping down the garden path each morning to the waiting taxi! Gone are the days at his old school when we couldn't even get him out of bed each day, let alone get him through the school doors!”
