At Roehampton Hospital School we are aware that there is a statistical majority of LGBT+ young people suffering with mental health issues, therefore we ensure that we are inclusive and educational of all different aspects of LGBT identities.
We have an LGBT Ambassador within our staff team who holds workshops on gender identity, pronouns, coming out, and supplies resources for young people and families. We have events during Pride season that raise awareness and celebrate difference, and the offer throughout the rest of the year of a safe and understanding space is always there.
Roehampton Hospital School is working towards Rainbow Flag accreditation in 2024 which will supply us with even more external resources and support.
